Source of revenue increase: Increased state park daily use and camping fees and the elimination of non-resident annual camping permits.
Assumptions: The same level of visitation as in 2006. The FY 2009 revenue increase is lower because the change would not start until January 1, 2009.
This bill will also establish an amenitites fee to be charged at any park, area or site under the jurisdiction of the Department of Parks and Cultural Resources. The fiscal impact is not determinable at this time as the fee amount shall be set by rule and regulation at a later date.

This bill has administrative impact that appears to increase duties or responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or staffing requirements. As introduced, the bill does not modify any state agency budget or current personnel authorizations.
