FISCAL NOTE

The fiscal impact, in the form of decreased expenditures, is indeterminable.

This bill could decrease expenditures by potentially saving the State of Wyoming up to 5% on projects over $5 million.

Also, this bill could attract a larger pool of bidders on projects over $5 million, create a more competitive bidding environment, and possibly result in more competitive and lower bids. This could potentially reduce capital construction expenditures, but the amount of this potential decrease is unknown.
