Source of revenue decrease:  Decrease in the number of temporary food event licenses.  The number of annual temporary food event licenses is not expected to offset the decrease in revenue.

Assumptions:  Approximately 725 temporary food event licenses are issued each year.  It is estimated that 50 food vendors would begin purchasing the new annual temporary food event licenses.  These sales are anticipated to result in yearly revenue of $2,500.  Sales of temporary food event licenses are estimated to decrease by 300 (assuming each vendor currently purchases an average of six temporary food event licenses per year).  Therefore, that leaves about 425 temporary food event licenses (currently $25 each) sold each year for a total of $10,625.  The total revenue under the proposed legislation would be $13,125.  Under the current statute, the total revenue collected is $18,125.
