The fiscal impact in the form of an expenditure decrease is indeterminable.

Source of Expenditure Decrease: 

The exact fiscal impact cannot be determined since it is not clear who would make the final decision on determining medical care or mental health issues that may affect the patient. As written, it appears this proposed legislation would have no effect on the budget of the state hospital as these changes would only affect medical costs of an emergency detained individual in the first 72 hours of detention which currently the county is responsible for.
