FISCAL NOTE

This bill addresses an inadvertent restriction placed on counties which would otherwise qualify for impact assistance funding. It does not effect the industrial siting impact funding formula.

Section 2 of the bill speaks to the intent of the 2007 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 133 and the intent of the legislature to allow counties affected by existing projects to be funded through the current funding formula.  There is currently one project which just started in Campbell County.  There have been no distributions calculated yet and any potential distribution will be held pending the outcome of this bill.  This amount is currently indeterminable.
