Summary/Major Elements:

This bill:

· Eliminates the requirement that circuit court judges draft affidavits for claimants in actions filed in small claims court;

· Amends obsolete provisions that refer to justices of the peace by either eliminating the reference or replacing the reference with a reference to circuit courts, as applicable;

· Repeals a statutory provision relating to qualifications for official court reporters, which requirements are now specified in the Wyoming Supreme Court Uniform Rules for District Courts.
