Summary/Major Elements:

· The act makes the following acts a felony, punishable by up to two years imprisonment and a fine of $5,000 on the first offense:

o Ownership, possession or training of dogs or fowl with the intent to allow the dog or fowl to engage in an exhibition of fighting with another dog or fowl;

o For gain causing or allowing any dog or fowl to fight with another dog or fowl;

o Knowingly permitting or promoting these acts.
