Subject:  Amends repayment requirements for Quality Child Care grants.

Summary/Major Elements:

· This act amends the Quality Child Care grant program, by:

·   Changing the phrase "educational grants" to "educational development scholarships" and the phrase "staff development grants" to "continuing education grants";

· Providing that repayment of scholarships will be required, upon breach of a contract by a scholarship recipient, for only those funds received during or after the semester in which the breach occurred, plus attorney fees and costs of collection.
