Summary/Major Elements:

· Current law provides for governmental bodies empowered to hold an interest in real property in Wyoming or the United States to hold a conservation easement.

This act:

· Prohibits the Wyoming Board of Land Commissioners from accepting conservation easements after the effective date of this act.

· Excludes the Wyoming Board of Land Commissioners from being a governmental body empowered to hold a conservation easement, except for conservation easements already held as of the effective date of this act.
