Task Force Mission.

2008 Laws, Chapter 48, Section 327 establishes the Task Force and requires the Task Force to review and evaluate the community college system and to develop recommendations on various system components.

Community College Information Session/Discussion.

Continued from previous day as necessary.

 

Statewide College System Strategic Plan.

2008 Laws, Chapter 84, requires the Wyoming Community College Commission to coordinate the development of a biennial statewide college system strategic plan.  2008 Laws, Chapter 48, Section 327 requires the Task Force to review and evaluate the community college system in conjunction with strategic planning efforts.  The Commission will discuss with the Task Force its broad plan for effectuating the strategic planning process.

State Revenue Forecast.

The Consensus Revenue Estimating Group (CREG) develops the official fiscal documents for primary state revenue sources.  This information is used by the Legislature and the Governor in establishing state budgetary policy.

Future Task Force Work Schedule.

2008 Laws, Chapter 48, Section 327 requires the Task Force to submit findings and recommendations to the Joint Education Interim Committee, together with legislation necessary to carry out recommendations, on or before November 1, 2008.
