Joint Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Interim Committee

 

 

Senator Michael Von Flatern and Representative Dave Edwards, Co-chairmen of the Joint Transportation, Highways and Military Affairs Committee, have announced the Committee will meet:

 

October 15 & 16, 2008

8:30 a.m.

Agenda

 

 

The purpose of the meeting on October 15th is to consider issues previously discussed regarding transportation and highways, including van pooling, commuter rail, I-80 tolling, rental vehicles, abandoned vehicles, vehicle title and registration, road closures, the federal RealID program, overweight/oversize loads and projects to reduce accidents on I-80.  The meeting on October 16th  will focus on military affairs including Camp Guernsey, the Youth Challenge program, grazing fees, and medical malpractice premiums paid by National Guard members.
