AN ACT relating to public health; creating the cardiovascular education and outreach initiative program; providing for a comprehensive diabetes and diabetes related cardiovascular disease education and control program; providing for screening and preventive treatment for diabetes and diabetes related cardiovascular disease as necessary support of the poor; authorizing positions; providing for the repeal of the program; requiring reports; providing an appropriation; and providing for an effective date.
