Source of expenditure increase:

Increase in salaries, payroll taxes and benefits for the Governor, Secretary of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer, and Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Assumptions:

The above estimates reflect the increases in salary, retirement benefits, and FICA and Medicare payroll taxes.

This bill is effective January 3, 2011. Therefore, these salary increases would be in effect for the last six months of FY 2011, and for the entire twelve months of FY 2012.
