FISCAL NOTE

This bill expands the current community facilities program to include the construction of new community facilities.

The Business Council anticipates an increase in demand for grant funding of $3.5 million per year, subject to General Fund appropriation. The Business Council conservatively estimates the addition of three to four projects of this type per year at an average grant amount of $1 million, based on historical data on approved community facilities program projects.
