FISCAL NOTE

This bill has the potential to slightly reduce the number of recipients of Hathaway scholarships.  However, the Department of Education believes that students would be motivated by the requirements of this bill and will work to achieve proficiency in the statewide tests, thus maintaining their Hathaway eligibility.
