FISCAL NOTE

This bill contains an appropriation of $230,600 from the GENERAL FUND.

Discussion of the appropriation:

· $180,600 to purchase equipment and instruments necessary for the analytical testing program; and

· $ 50,000 (this portion of the appropriation is intended to be for two years) for consumable supplies and contractual testing of octane in selected samples by an external laboratory.

This bill has administrative impact that appears to increase (or decrease) duties or responsibilities of one or more state agencies and may impact agency spending or staffing requirements. As introduced, the bill does not modify any state agency budget or current personnel authorizations.
