Summary/Major Elements:     

· The act increases the penalty for procuring or possessing a hunting license or taking any wildlife prohibited by a court when the person has had a hunting or fishing license suspended or forfeited. 

· The penalty under those provisions is changed from a low misdemeanor (a fine up to $1,000 and imprisonment up to six months) to a high misdemeanor (a fine up to $10,000.00 and imprisonment up to one year).
