Catch Title:       Victims of crimes-reporting and notification.

Subject:  Conditions receipt of funds by crime victim service providers on the provider's agreement to submit an annual unduplicated count of the number of victims served by the individual program.

Summary/Major Elements:

· The Victim Services Division, within the Attorney General's Office, has established minimum standards for community based services and programs for victims, as a condition for the community programs to receive state victim services funds.

· This bill:

o Requires that each community based program receiving funds from the Division submit an unduplicated count of the number of victims served by the program, in accordance with rules adopted by the Division;

o Specifies that the rules adopted by the Division shall not require submission of any personally identifiable information from the community based program.
