· This act appropriates $1,500,000.00 to the department of transportation to be placed in a separate account within the public transit account and used for the sole purpose of operational expenses and bus purchases by eligible grantees of the public transit program.  The act:

o Limits total expenditures from the new account to $1,500,000.00 in fiscal year 2010. 

o Unexpended, unobligated funds revert on June 30, 2010.
