· The act clarifies the duties of the Wyoming arts council board and the duties of the department of state parks and cultural resources under the arts council statutes.

· The act requires that arts council members be confirmed by the senate.

· The act clarifies the role of the arts council board as an advisory board which reviews grant applications and makes recommendations to the department regarding funding of grants.

· The act directs that proceeds from donations to the arts program be deposited in a separate revenue account to be expended on legislative appropriation for purposes of promoting and funding the arts in Wyoming.
