· This act makes numerous revisions to Wyoming's vehicle title and registration statutes.

· Among other things, the act:

o Defines who is exempt from registration and title requirements;

o Sets procedures for obtaining titles and registrations and mandates insurance requirements.

o Defines the "factory price" upon which registration fees are based;

o Defines "pickup trucks";

o Addresses circumstances involving commuters from other jurisdictions;

o Adopts standards for salvaged or rebuilt vehicles;

o Adopts standards for duplicate titles.

· The act specifies that vehicles previously not required to be titled are not required to be titled by the act until the owner transfers his right to the vehicle.
