14, being original Senate File 12, is enacted into law, W.S. 36-8-501(b) shall
be amended to read:
36-8-501. Powers

(b) Upon approval by the governor,
the department of state parks and cultural resources may purchase in the name
of the state of Wyoming the following real property, unless the Carissa gold
mine has created unacceptable economical environmental impacts as shown by the
department of environmental quality investigation and determined by the
governor, in Fremont county containing approximately 312.41 acres which are
hereby declared to be part of the Old South
Pass Historical Preserve-Wyoming City state historic site:
(b) If 2010 Senate Enrolled Act
14, being original Senate File 12, is enacted into law, W.S. 36-8-1001(d)(viii)
is repealed.
(c) This section shall not be
effective if 2010 Senate Enrolled Act 14, being original Senate File 12, is not
enacted into law.".
