FISCAL NOTE

This proposed legislation will reduce Workers’ Compensation expenditures.  The Department of Employment will not be paying the Attorney General to do as many Supreme Court appeals.  The amount of reduced expenditures is indeterminable because the Department is uncertain how many writs of certiorari the Supreme Court would issue.

The fiscal impact to the judicial system is indeterminable due to an unknown number of cases.
