This bill contains an appropriation of $200,000 from the GENERAL FUND to the Department of Administration & Information.  This appropriation is effective immediately.

Description of Appropriation:

The Department of Administration & Information/Construction Management Division will select a consultant to perform the Level I & II study. Consultant shall be on a negotiated fixed fee not to exceed $200,000.00. Any portion of the appropriation remaining shall revert as provided by law.

The Construction Management Division considered alternative energy sources for this project. There may not be sufficient wind at this site in Goshen County to support or justify the investment. The Construction Management Division will certainly check that out prior to engaging a consultant.
