FISCAL NOTE

The fiscal impact, in the form of increased expenditures from the School Foundation Program, is indeterminable.

This bill would allow for the creation of additional unified school districts which could increase model funding from the School Foundation Program account.  The number and the characteristics of the created unified school districts are unknown and, therefore, the costs are indeterminable.

This bill could also increase school facility needs for the newly created unified school districts. This fiscal impact, in the form of additional expenditures for school facilities, is also indeterminable.
