FISCAL NOTE

This bill contains an appropriation of $50,000 from the GENERAL FUND to the Legislative Service Office.  This appropriation is effective immediately.

Description of Appropriation:

This appropriation will pay for salary, per diem, mileage and other travel expenses for the four (4) legislators appointed to participate to develop an Energy Producer State Agreement.

Legislators appointed to participate will attend meetings as Management Council determines necessary to accomplish the purpose of this bill. Appointed legislators will provide a single report to Management Council not later than September 1, 2011, including any suggested legislation for referral to the appropriate legislative committee for consideration.

Assumptions:

It is assumed that three meetings will take place from the effective date of the bill to the end date of the appropriation. It is assumed that one meeting will take place in Wyoming and two meetings will take place out-of-state. It is also assumed that one of the out-of-state meetings will take place in Alaska. It is assumed the meeting in Wyoming will take place in FY 2011 and the two out-of-state meetings will take place in FY 2012. It is assumed there is no legislative salary for out-of-state travel.
