Description of Appropriation:

The $500,000 general fund appropriation would allow for five full time positions in one statewide center to be funded in fiscal year 2012. The bill also provides that general fund dollars will be reduced dollar for dollar by federal funds expended by the Department for aging and disability resource centers. Currently the cost of Aging and Disability Resource Center services are being covered by a federal Administration on Aging grant that is expected to expire in fiscal year 2012.

This bill may reduce expenditures; however, the amount is indeterminable at this time.
