FISCAL NOTE

This bill contains an appropriation of $75,000 from the SCHOOL FOUNDATION FUND to the Legislative Service Office.  This appropriation is effective immediately.

Description of appropriation:

This appropriation is for payment of salary, per diem and mileage for members of the select committee. The above estimate assumes a total of 10 meetings, with 3 meeting days taking place in FY 2011 and 7 meeting days taking place in FY 2012.

Unexpended, unobligated amounts appropriated to the Legislative Service Office under 2010 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 39, Section 334(f)(ii), shall be available for expenditure by the Legislative Service Office for professional consulting expertise and other support necessary to carry out and execute the work of the select committee on statewide education accountability as required under this bill. The unexpended, unobligated amount available from this School Foundation Program appropriation is estimated to be roughly $900,000.
