198,410

198,410

Source of Revenue Increase:

Fees collected through a resident preference point program for antelope, deer and elk licenses which are limited in quota and would otherwise be issued through a random drawing.  The revenue increase will be recognized in FY 2013 after the June 2012 draws are completed.

Assumptions:

Resident preference points for Elk, Antelope, and Deer will have the same price of $10.00 each. Currently 46% of all available preference points are purchased, therefore it is estimated that 46% of residents will choose to purchase points.  The estimated breakdown per species is as follows: Antelope 4,571 x $10 = $45,710 Deer 5,447 x $10 = $54,470 and Elk 9,823 x $10 = $98,230 for a total of $198,410.
