Description of Appropriation:

The proposed legislation appropriates $200,000 from the General Fund to the Cruelty to Animals Protection Account.  Funds in the account are continuously appropriated to the Livestock Board to reimburse county law enforcement agencies for eligible expenses regarding animal cruelty cases. 

 

Assumptions:

These funds will be pass-through dollars distributed to county law enforcement agencies for reimbursement of expenses in animal welfare cases.
