· This act requires applicants for insurance producer licenses, insurance adjuster licenses and insurance consultant licenses to submit fingerprints and provide permission to the department to conduct a criminal history background check on the applicant.

· The act conforms statutes requiring criminal history background checks and statutes authorizing dissemination of criminal history record information.
