Catch Title:       Wyoming Traditional Food Act.

Subject:  Creates the “Wyoming Traditional Food Act” and exempts certain food from the provisions of the Wyoming Food, Drug and Cosmetic Safety Act.

Summary/Major Elements:

● Creates the “Wyoming Traditional Food Act” which provides that food prepared for a traditional event or activity as defined by the act is not subject to the licensure and oversight provisions of the Wyoming Food, Drug and Cosmetic Safety or any other provision of the law requiring licensure, permitting, certification, inspection, packaging or labeling of such food.

● These exclusions from licensure, etc., apply to requirements imposed by the state or political subdivisions of the state.

● "Traditional event or activity" includes events such as weddings, funerals, social events, potlucks, any event for family or non-paying guests, picnics, roundups, camping barbeques, and food prepared for sale for fundraising.
