● Under current law, there are no legal mechanisms for trainers of search and rescue dogs to obtain human tissues to aid in the training of those dogs.

● This act amends various laws concerning the handling of human remains, including the uniform anatomical gift act, to allow use of those human remains and tissues for the purpose of training search and rescue dogs.
