Subject: Reciprocal agreements regarding aquatic invasive species.
Summary/Major Elements:
· The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission currently administers a program to avoid the infiltration of aquatic invasive species in Wyoming waters. Under the current program the owners of all conveyances are required to obtain a decal prior to entering the waters of Wyoming.
· This act allows the commission to enter into reciprocal agreements with adjoining states whereby each state will honor the aquatic invasive species program fees of the other. The agreements may provide for additional fees to be paid to Wyoming.
· This act permits reciprocal agreements with adjoining states with artificial impoundments of water forming the boundary between the two states.
