Summary/Major Elements:

· This act allows persons holding a big game license to surrender that license to the game and fish department for reissuance at no additional fee to a veteran with disabilities.  The veteran is to be selected and sponsored by a nonprofit charitable organization providing hunting opportunities for disabled veterans.

· Licenses reissued under this act must be for the same species, area and license type as the one surrendered.

· Licenses reissued under this act are not subject to five year or lifetime restrictions imposed under other statutes on either the initial licensee or the disabled veteran.
