Catch Title:       Fair practices of equipment act amendment.

Summary/Major Elements:

● This act amends the Fair Practice of Equipment Manufacturers, Distributors, Wholesalers and Dealers Act (W.S. 40-20-101 through 40-20-123) to include within the definition of "equipment": "multi-purpose vehicles", "snowmobiles", and "off-road recreation vehicles".

● Wyoming dealers who sell the aforementioned equipment are subject to the provisions of the Fair Practice of Equipment Act.

● The Fair Practices of Equipment Manufacturers, Distributors, Wholesalers and Dealers Act generally: allows a dealer to return to a supplier surplus parts inventory as specified, imposes violations for certain actions of an equipment supplier, specifies procedure for termination of equipment dealer agreements, provides for reimbursement for warranty work, and regulates other aspects of the equipment supplier/dealer relationship.
