       This resolution:

 

       Recognizes that the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has utilized regulatory authority in the area of air quality;

 

       Asserts that there has not been a study to determine the impacts of EPA regulation on the economy or on the global climate;

 

       Calls on Congress to prohibit greenhouse gas regulation by the EPA and urges Congress to impose a moratorium on any new air quality regulation by the EPA; and

 

       Requests the federal government to undertake a study on regulatory activity of the EPA concerning climate change and air quality.
