AN ACT relating to the statewide assessment system; providing for an end-of-course assessment system for measuring student progress on the statewide educational program; requiring the state board of education to establish the system for implementation beginning in the 20122013 school year; providing assessment criteria; imposing reporting requirements; delegating rulemaking authority; and providing for an effective date.
