FISCAL NOTE

 

This bill contains an appropriation of $5,495,000 from the WATER DEVELOPMENT I to the Water Development Commission.  This appropriation is effective immediately.

 

This bill contains an appropriation of $750,000 from the WATER DEVELOPMENT II to the Water Development Commission.  This appropriation is effective immediately.

 

This bill contains an appropriation of $1,500,000 from the WATER DEVELOPMENT III to the Water Development Commission.  This appropriation is effective immediately.

The appropriations reflected above will be used contract services to complete level I reconnaissance studies and level II feasibility studies for new water development, rehabilitation and dam & reservoir projects.

 

The Wyoming Water Development Commission is authorized to contract with the University of Wyoming in an amount not to exceed $175,000 from Water Account I to fund the Office of Water Programs from July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2014. This amount is included in the table above.

 

The bill is effective immediately. As reflected in the table above, it is estimated that a total of $380,000 ($275,000 from Water Account I, $35,000 from Water Account II, and $70,000 from Water Account III) will be expended before July 1, 2012, in FY 2012. It is anticipated that the remainder of the appropriations will be expended after July 2012, in the FY 2013-14 biennium.
