Description of Appropriation:

For the first fiscal year, the initial appropriation would be used to develop rules and regulations.  This would include expenditures related to travel, printing, copying, and other miscellaneous supplies.

 

Assumption:

Assumes the state officer that is appointed Commissioner does not request other administrative support from the Wyoming Department of Administration and Information.  If this assumption holds, then the Commissioner will already have an office of operations and will not be in need of additional office space, computer equipment, office furniture, etc.

Source of Revenue Increase:

Payment of established licensing fees and statutorily required portion of event admission fees to be deposited into the Office of the Mixed Martial Arts Commissioner account.

 

Assumption:

Fees will be established upon rule review and will be deemed sufficient to cover costs to support the Commissioner's activities and obligations.  This revenue will be used to support administrative costs for the board as the board is intended to be self-funded.  It is shown here for consistency.
