Description of appropriations:
$812,128 is appropriated to the Department of Education for the statewide administration of standardized college readiness testing and college entrance testing in school years 2012-13 and 2013-14. It is estimated that this amount, in addition to the $600,000 included in the Department of Education 2013-14 recommended budget for ACT testing, will fund this testing for grades 9-12. The estimated amount needed for 8th grade testing ($116,042) is not included in this appropriation. Of this appropriation, $30,000 will be expended for necessary professional development and data costs.
$250,000 is appropriated to the Department of Education for necessary support to the State Board of Education. This amount may be expended for acquisition of necessary professional consulting expertise.
This bill contains an appropriation of $75,000 from the unexpended, unobligated amounts appropriated to the Legislative Service Office under 2010 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 39, Section 334(f)(ii) to the Legislative Service Office. This appropriation is effective immediately.

Description of appropriation
This appropriation is for the necessary expenses of the select committee on statewide accountability. This appropriation will be used for payment of salary, per diem and mileage for committee members. The above estimate assumes a total of 9 meeting days, with 5 meeting days taking place in FY 2013 and 4 meeting days taking place in FY 2014.
Unexpended, unobligated amounts appropriated from the School Foundation Program Account to the Legislative Service Office under 2010 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 39, Section 334(f)(ii), shall be available for expenditure by the Legislative Service Office. Unexpended, unobligated funds appropriated from the School Foundation Program Account to the Attorney General under 2010 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 39, Section 2, Section 15, for purposes of the school finance litigation law office are reappropriated for expenditure by the Legislative Service Office beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2014. The unexpended, unobligated amounts described in the paragraph are also being made available for expenditure in 12LSO-0141.C2 (School finance) sponsored by the Joint Education Interim Committee.
