Description of Appropriation:

The funds in the proposed legislation would be used for grants with the University of Wyoming and community colleges (with preference to Wyoming institutions) to conduct agricultural research.

Assumption:

The funds would not be expended until the rule-making process is completed and therefore not needed until the start of the new biennium.  The administrative oversight would be completed by current department staff.
