Summary/Major Elements:

· The act clarifies commercial registered agent continuing responsibilities when the agent fails to renew his registration.

· The act requires renewal of a commercial registered agent registration by November 30 of each year.  The act provides for an additional late fee equal to the annual filing fee for renewals filed between December 1 and December 31 of each year.

· The act provides for an additional late renewal fee of $500 plus the costs of mailing notifications to the entities the commercial registered agent represented if the commercial registered agent renews after December 31.
