Catch Title:       Nuclear energy task force extension.

Summary/Major Elements:

· Reconstitutes the Nuclear Energy Production Task Force created by 2011 Wyoming Session Laws, Chapter 148, Section 1.

· Allows current members of the task force to be reappointed to the task force or the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House or the Governor may appoint new members to the task force by April 15, 2012.

· Specifies areas the task force should study as they relate to nuclear energy production.

Comments:

· The task force shall submit recommendations and proposed legislation to the Joint Minerals Committee and the Governor no later than November 1, 2012. The Joint Minerals Committee is to consider the recommendations of the task force and develop legislation it deems appropriate for introduction in the 2013 general session.

· The task force shall exist until December 31, 2012.
