Page 30-lines 7 through 26 In the Berger Second Reading Amendment (HB0001H2003/A) to these lines in section 048b created by that amendment:

In the Health Care Financing line item - Under GENERAL FUND decrease amount by "160,000,000".

Page 99-line 23 Delete "." insert ";".

Page 99-after line 23 Insert:

"(iii) In addition to the authority under paragraphs (i) and (ii) of this subsection, the governor is authorized to transfer to the department health for the health care finance division one hundred sixty million dollars ($160,000,000.00) for expenditure in the 2014 fiscal year. The legislature's intent in authorizing the transfers under this paragraph is to:

(A) Fully fund the health care finance division as necessary to provide authorized Medicaid and other statutorily authorized benefits;

(B) Achieve an approximate five percent (5%) reduction in general fund appropriations for the 2013-2014 fiscal biennium; and

(C) Allow the governor flexibility in reducing general fund appropriations to achieve the stated intent."
