AN ACT relating to public employee benefits; providing for participation in the law enforcement plan under the Wyoming Retirement Act by a peace officer employed by the department of state parks and cultural resources; authorizing election by peace officers currently employed by the department of state parks and cultural resources; specifying implementation; and providing for an effective date.

"9‑3‑602.  Definitions.

(a)  As used in this article:

(v)  "Employee" means:

(C)  Any criminal investigator as defined in paragraph (iv) of this subsection; or

(D)  Any person designated and appointed as capitol police under W.S. 9‑1‑612 and qualified pursuant to W.S. 9‑1‑701 through 9‑1‑707;. or

(E)  Any peace officer employed by the department of state parks and cultural resources.".
