      "(d)  Notwithstanding subsection (a) or (c) of this section, for any child who is sixteen (16) years of age or more, the board of trustees of the school district shall exempt any child from the operation of this article upon written request from the parent, guardian or other person after meeting in person with a school district counselor or administrator.".  ROTHFUSS

This subsection shall not apply if the objection of any parent, guardian or other person having control or charge of the child is made for purposes unrelated to the education of the child.".  ESQUIBEL
