FISCAL NOTE

The fiscal impact in the form of a revenue increase to the Search and Rescue account is indeterminable. 

In FY 2012 the Search and Rescue Account received $189,979 in donations during the payment for boat registrations, snowmobile registrations, fishing licenses, and hunting licenses and tags.  In calendar year 2011 the account received $17,652 during the payment for off-road recreational vehicle registrations.

This bill increases the minimum donation from $1.00 to $2.00 or any greater whole dollar amount and codifies the opportunity for people to donate $2.00 or any greater whole dollar amount during the payment for a snowmobile user fee and when registering an off-road recreational vehicle.
