State land violations.

13LSO-0206.C1

FISCAL NOTE

The Office of State Lands & Investments could see an increase of funds deposited into an account designated by the Board of Land Commissioners from restitution ordered.  However, these funds would be redirected back to mitigate the damage to state lands the restitution was ordered for.  Restitution ordered would only be used for mitigation of damage to state land and not for staff salary or administrative costs. Therefore, no net increase in revenue will be realized by the agency or state.

The fiscal impact to the judicial system is indeterminable due to an unknown number of cases.
