FISCAL NOTE

The non-administrative impact in the form of a revenue and expenditure increase to and from the Game and Fish fund is indeterminable due to an unknown number of transfers. 

Source of Revenue Increase:  Preference point transfer fee of $35.00 per species to an immediate family member.

Source of Expenditure Increase:

Processing the transfer of accumulated preference points to a holder’s immediate family member will require additional staff time.

Assumptions:

The $35 fee will cover the cost for an employee to process the transfer of preference points, but it is unknown how many transfers the department would process each year.
